Purple leafed Mitsuba (Cryptotaenia japonica ‘Atropurpurea’ )

Often called perennial Japanese ‘parsley’. This purple leafed form adds colour to the veggie or flower garden. It will also do well in a large pot or tub. I find the taste a bit stronger than the common green form.
Plants go dormant over winter with all leaves disappearing so mark the location of plants so as not to accidentally dig them up or over-plant.
